How do I receive my ticket after payment?

After M-Pesa confirmation, your QR code ticket appears instantly in My Tickets. You also receive an SMS to your registered number within seconds.

Can I transfer a ticket to another person?

Yes - go to My Tickets, expand the ticket and tap Transfer. Enter the recipient's name, email and phone. A flat fee of KES 200 is charged per transfer.

Can I resell my ticket on Tiko?

Accepted Answer

Yes - head to the Resale section and choose Fixed Price or start a Live Auction. All tickets are authenticated before listing to prevent fraud.

How does the live auction work?

Accepted Answer

Set a starting bid and optional reserve price. Other users bid in real-time. You can close the auction when you're satisfied with the highest bid.

What payment methods are supported?

We support M-Pesa (recommended for Kenya) and Visa/Mastercard. All payments are secured with 256-bit SSL encryption and are PCI DSS compliant.

What happens if an event is cancelled?

Accepted Answer

If an organiser cancels an event, all ticket holders receive an automatic full refund to their original payment method within 3–5 business days.
